Know - How
When it comes to injection moulding and plastic microinjection APA has a tool design laboratory as well as a workshop dedicated to plastic moulding and microinjection at its disposal. The plastic injection workshop has several machines including the 35 to 350ton FANUC clamps which allow us to:
- Produce small to medium injection batches (going up into the millions).
Transform a large range of substances:
- Polyolefin, Polyamide, Styrene
- Polycarbonate, Polyphthalamide , Polyester Elastomer, Polyetherimide , Thermoplastic elastomer, Thermoplastic polyurethane, Polyphenylene sulphide
- Polyethylene terephthalate, Polyether ether ketone, 3M™ Dyneon™
- Loaded material, glass fibre alloy, glass beads, minerals
- An extensive range of colours and surface finishes
- Over-moulding with the option of placing inserts (using the robots)
All our services will be provided by one single person, which often enables us to shorten deadlines both on the tools and the batches. We will also handle any related issues that may come up at any stage (cutting, joining..).
Not all only does APA have a tool design laboratory, but it also has a plastic injection workshop dedicated to plastic moulding and micro-injection. To complement all this know-how, we have also consecrated a part of our premises to the assembly of some of our parts. Lastly, to go with finished products we also offer a UV LED printing service.
Small and medium injection batches, along with the tool creation are offered at the most competitive price that we can find because we endeavour to find the best deal for your tool both in terms of quality and price. For larger batches our steel tooling has the most up-to-date techniques and all kinds of material.
Tool Design
Within our design department, we will help you develop or optimize your parts for the injection process, from drawing, sketch or a 2 or 3D diagram.
For small to medium batches, we will look for the best tool piece according to your budget and for the larger batches our tools are produced with steel tooling and include all the latest techniques
Plastic Injection
APA has a tool design laboratory and a workshop that is dedicated to injection moulding and the production of plastic objects. The plastic injection workshop has several machines including the 35 to 350ton FANUC Injection clamps which produce small to medium injection batches (going up into the millions).Transforms a large range of substances:
- Polyolefin, Polyamide, Styrene
- Polycarbonate, Polyphthalamide , Polyester Elastomer, Polyetherimide , Thermoplastic elastomer, Thermoplastic polyurethane, Polyphenylene sulphide
- Polyethylene terephthalate, Polyether ether ketone, 3M™ Dyneon™
- Loaded material, glass fibre alloy, glass beads, minerals
- An extensive range of colours and surface finishes
- Over-moulding with the option of placing inserts using the robots
Assemblage
Following production, the parts often require assembly and/or correction and a number of techniques can be used to achieve this, through:
- screwing
- welding
- installing US or hot inserts
- mounting electrical/electronic elements on sub-sets.
High quality LED/UV printing
Beyond the design, plastic injection, assembly and any additional elements that might be added, APA will go that one step further to provide you with ready-to-use products by providing you with additional UV LED service on request:
- High quality photo print Maximum print area of 300*400mm
- Maximum height of 500mm
- 1440*1200 DPI resolution maximum
- High quality in ABS format or on PC (for others please check with us)
